Scripture: John 3:16-17"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved."
In our fast-paced world, we often seek quick solutions, much like using a microwave instead of a crockpot. However, God's love is not something to be rushed or simplified. It is deep, unconditional, and

Rain. Rain is something we don't necessarily appreciate. For most of us it doesn't truly effect our daily lives and if anything we complain when it rains and ruins our plans.
However, in the Bible times, rain was considered a blessing from God. The Bible speaks about rain quite frequently. But i want to specifically look at the blessings of rain. In Deuteronomy 11:14 it says
"then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that

As I studied Palm Sunday and the triumphant entrance Jesus made into Jerusalem. And this passage stood out to me like never before. And not just any part of this passage but one thing in specific. An unridden donkey. Why was it a colt that had never been ridden? The scene that Jesus rode this animal into was created to terrify and spook even a seasoned animal. And Jesus knew coming into this situation what was to come. He knew there would be people cheering and yelling an

I sit and type this devotional as I am navigating what feels like troubled waters. Spiritually and in the physical.
Unforseen circumstances have arose in my life and I am troubled and I am now faced with options.
Handle it myself in the flesh. Do nothing and let fear and worry consume me. Turn the scripture and to GodI am thankful that I didn’t react immediately. That I took a moment and thought. And that I chose this last option, the scripture.
And in turning to the scr

Brother Chad Graves preached a sermon on this text this morning. If you haven’t heard that sermon yet I strongly suggest you flip over to our sermons tab and check it out!
As he preached this text on Mary, and how she is being told she will birth Jesus I couldn’t help but notice the response that Mary gave.
The text first says “she was troubled” when she was told. Mary had every reason to be troubled. To be anxious, scared, worried, all the emotions that the phrase “troubl

There comes a time in every Christian’s life, that we come upon hard times. We encounter a trial or a test and it pushes us. We feel as if we don’t have the strength to carry on. The bad report from the doctor, that child that just won’t stop pushing and testing you, unexpected loss or heart break. All of these things can create a sense of weakness for us.
Today I want to remind you where we find our strength.
Joshua chapter 1 verse 8 & 9 says
“This Book of the Law shall no

Who do you sound like?

As Christian’s, it should be our goal and desire to be more like Christ.
We should desire to walk talk and act like He did while he was on this earth. Obviously we have and will fall short of this goal. But it should be our hearts desire to do better today than we did yesterday and to grow closer to Him. With that being said my question for you today is simple.
Do you sound like Jesus?
Or do you sound like the world?
Does your life, your actions, words, and thoughts resemb

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth,
